Jesus repeatedly appears to 3 siblings 27 Nov 2006 By Barkos Warjiri (As told to me by a respected Pastor and friend in Shillong. The names of children have been changed to protect their identities.) Since Sunday, 5th November 2006 three very young children have had a series of open-eyed visions. That hundreds of children have had visions while slain in the Spirit is no longer news. This time around children are seeing Jesus with open eyes. This is their story. Shan (nearing 8), Linda (nearing 6), and Meda (4) (names changed), were playing in the lawn outside their house in Upper Shillong. Their 7-year old cousin was also with them, when they saw an unusually bright cloud in the sky, which drew their attention. They quickly became quiet, staring in awe, frozen to their places. Something unusual was taking place, but they were strangely not afraid! There on the cloud they saw an unmistakable image of Jesus. However the scene which unfolded before their little eyes was quite different from pictures they might have been familiar with. They saw Jesus, his hands lifted up, with his palms bleeding, but he was not alone. Around him they could clearly see, to their delight, angels. As they looked they could not see but they sensed that something had fallen from the cloud. They could smell a sweet perfume surrounding them but could see nothing around. He is currently working in Bangalore in St John’s Hospital. This is his eye-witness story of a healing that took place at CMC, Vellore. An 80-year old man from Nongkhrim in the Jaintia hills has been undergoing radiotherapy in CMC (Christian Medical College) He had been diagnosed with cancer and had a painful growth within his throat that pushed both the esophagus and the windpipe—making eating difficult and speaking was reduced to a hoarse whisper. Even pills needed to be crushed and drinking water was a challenge. In the hospital, the patient in the next bed was a Christian lecturer. During private prayer, he had a word of knowledge that the old man was holding a grudge against someone & that was what had opened the door for the physical illness. When he humbly shared this with the old man, he was touched by what he said. He admitted that he had been holding a grudge against a relative for a very long time. And repented of that. A short time after that, the elderly man found that he could drink water and that he could speak much more clearly than he had been able to till then. He felt a distinct improvement in the obstruction in his throat. Pastor Reuben Laloo was later called in to come and pray and Steward who was visiting in Vellore, joined Ps. Reuben at this time. The elderly man demonstrated his improvement to both of them and showed to them what God had done, by drinking some water. Touching his neck, he gratefully exclaimed, ’No pain now!’ (Want to connect with Steward? The session ended with a dozen people repenting with weeping and vowing to cling to God. Tell of His Wondrous Works! by Rueben Pradhan In Garo Hills, Chitoktak, I was invited to do a 3-days seminar on the Prophetic Ministry" (3rd - 5th Nov). The first session of the first day, I held my notes and Bible on my hands all set to launch as soon as Mikseng gives me the signal. But as I waited for that moment the Holy Spirit told me to share about the revival here. So I stood up and for the next one hour and more shared about the wondrous works of God here in the Khasi and Jaintia Hills. The Lord got their attention, and the rest of the three days sessions was power-packed with the strong presence and anointing of the Holy Spirit. For the full report please visit Bro. The Chairman as well as the Secretary of the Presbyterian Church in the village, while speaking to the paper reported that the revival sweeping across the Khasi and Jaintia hills has drawn many in the village to repentance. Those who have come in repentance and tears, asking for forgiveness from God, included those who had been addicted to alcohol, gambling, or had committed adultery, as well as other vices. 7-yr old Steven’s Visions Contributed by Barkos Warjri 11 Nov 2006 (Steven's age was quoted as 11 earlier on this report. His correct age is 7. The main text "Steven's Visions" has now been corrected accordingly. The error is regretted. Barkos) Steven is a young boy of 7. I know him as his grandmother (we call her ‘Kong’ a respective term for a lady older than you) has been helping my mother as a domestic help for more than fifteen years. He has had several very clear visions since the 3rd September 2006. Here are some instances of his visions. On 8th September Steven had fallen asleep a couple of times in class. He said that he had a vision of him being taken by Jesus to the Garden of Eden. There he was shown many fruits trees. He ate much of the fruits. He said, “ Jesus was holding my right hand. The devil was always lurking around on my left, but I was not afraid because God was in my heart. I could eat of all the trees and the fruits were very delicious, but I did not eat from the forbidden tree”. Jesus then told him that he should go back home and he woke up. Continued in this link Reconciliation at Nongspung – Peace after Rivalry 16 Oct 2006 News of what God is doing in various places continues to pour in. Factional fights and hostility arising out of village politics (election of the Sirdar), for the last three years, had torn Nongspung, a village in the West Khasi Hills District. Such was the rivalry that it had intruded into the church so that church work had suffered and attendance had dropped dismally. The revival, which touched this church in July, had a dramatic effect. The members were deeply convicted, and repented of their foolish behaviour, such that they confessed their failings to one another and asked each other for forgiveness. The healing in the church has brought peace in the village and has multiplied the church attendance. An observer who attended the services at the village on 15th October saw the effect. The Sunday service was overflowing with many seated outside the church building. 7 years of rivalry buried at Tangri 16 October, 2006 Tangri, a remote village in the Nongkhlaw region of the West Khasi Hills District has been impacted by the revival. This village had been torn apart by political factional frictions. These battles of attrition had been going in for about seven years. The spirit of revival, which touched the church in this village, however changed all this. Several children spoke of their visions and their innocence and sincerity touched the hardened hearts. The elders were gradually convicted of their wrongful behaviour. On 7th October 2006, the village meeting was held to sort out these issues. 11-year old turns Grandmother to God 16 October 2006 An 11 year old girl from a non-Christian family was touched by the Holy Spirit in the village of Mawpdang, about 25 km from Shillong. Her family refused to accept what she said and ridiculed her, even threatening her. The girl was unmoved. In a vision she had been told that she should visit the Presbyterian Church in the village and speak to the church, what had been revealed to her. The girl went, and her unbelieving but curious grandmother followed. The child revealed that she had also been directed in her vision, to speak to five villages one of which was village bordering the Karbi Anglong District of Assam. When the child spoke in the church it had an immediate effect on her grandmother, who fell down unconscious. The old lady saw a vision of heaven lighting up. ‘Doors of Heaven closing’ impacts liquor shops 16 Oct 2006 The spirit of the revival continues to sweep all those who are receptive. The revival, which started in the Presbyterian Church at the village of Ngunraw, in the Mawkyrwat area, did not remain only at that church. Believers in the Church Of God also received theSpirit of God. This also started first among the children of the church. Children from the Church of God also spoke of visions of the doors of heaven nearly being closed. A friend who visited Laityr-a village, in the Sohra subdivision spoke of the effect the revival has had on the country liquor shops. Several have virtually closed as business has dropped drastically in the last two months or so. Malki Church under pressure to slow down 12 Oct 2006 Two 9-year olds see Jesus Babet Warjri, daughter of Analyne, and Zacharias Warjri son of Euniche, experienced revival at the Laban Church. Both Babet and Zacharias saw Jesus who told them that the, ‘The world will be coming to an end.’ ‘Angel Glitter’ (glory dust) — Gold, Silver and Red fall at Laban Church Angels sighted at Mawprem |
